Common questions

Nil uses your device's microphone to detect the sound of your voice in real time. Every time you say a dhikr, the counter increments automatically — no tapping needed. All audio processing happens entirely on your device and is never stored or sent anywhere.

Yes, fully. Nil is entirely offline. All features — voice counting, tap counting, progress tracking, widgets, and Apple Watch — work without any internet connection. Your data lives only on your device.

Long-press your iPhone's Lock Screen or Home Screen and tap the "+" button to enter edit mode. Search for "Nil" in the widget list and choose the size that suits you. The widget will show your current dhikr count and update in real time.

Once the Nil app is installed on your Apple Watch, it can track your dhikr sessions directly from your wrist. Counts sync automatically with the iPhone app via Apple's on-device App Group storage — no cloud, no account needed.

We collect absolutely nothing. No account, no analytics, no tracking. Everything you do in Nil stays on your device. You can read the full details in our Privacy Policy.

Go to Settings inside the app and tap "Restore Purchases". This will re-apply your one-time purchase linked to your Apple ID at no extra charge. If the issue persists, contact us and we'll sort it out.

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it by removing the app. There are no accounts or servers to clear — once the app is deleted, all associated data is gone.

We'd love to hear from you. Send your feedback or bug report to feedback@nildhikr.com with as much detail as possible (iOS version, device, steps to reproduce). Every message is read personally.
